Trail Run Workshop a great success!

The autumn trail run workshop in October was a great success. “The wet weather made it more fun!'“ Was one of my favourite quotes of the day. A wet and cold autumn Sunday morning in October out on the trails of the Yorkshire Wolds Way.  The Trail Run workshop was a great success. A morning spent with like minded people in the great outdoors, running around, exploring, connecting and learning off each other.

I love working with small groups when running coaching as it offers the best learning and progress opportunities so that people can gain the most from the workshop. It’s also much more personal and very much like a personal running coaching session. The group rapport tends to be greater in smaller groups too as people feel more comfortable communicating with each other in small groups.

We met in the lovely village of Welton. The village has great links and many options to join the Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail. From Welton we headed to Elloughton and Brantingham and spent nearly 4 hours working on a number of techniques and tools to improve trail running.

”Had a great early morning run today, techniques from the trail run workshop have been amazing already, it’s reignited my running bug.”

We will be running the next Trail Run Workshop in January 2022 in the South Cave area of the Yorkshire Wolds.
